Message from the President!

I'm truly at a lost for words, the festival along White Plains Road has had its final gasp of air; the police has shot it down, It will not happen and quite frankly I'm tried and disgusted. Why would anyone in their right mind would wish to destroy such a positive event, its just unbelievable.

To all those acts and dance groups I apologize from the deepest part of my soul, to the companies we sorry we couldn't fight a harder fight to save our festival.

Believe us when we say that the center of our cultural activities are our festivals and our celebrations.

The Police is wrong! we have celebrated for over twenty years without any problems, they have fabricated safety concerns where they simply don't exist. Our pride as a people is not to be relegated to some back street or alley, yes we are proud; we help to rebuild this Borough and we have the right to celebrate along and within it's main streets.

Please bare with us, we're just regrouping and we'll advise you on our next move.
